Terminal and Flight Information - Honolulu International Airport:
HNL - While the main selling point of this hotel is its
location (practically on the grounds of Honolulu International
Airport), it has more things going for it than that. Accommodations
are comfortable and well-equipped, and guest services are more
than adequate. An onsite restaurant serves three meals a day,
and a shuttle transports guests from the hotel to Waikiki, Pearl
Harbor ad other Honolulu hot spots. The restricted-entry "Executive
Floor" is specially geared toward business travelers.

Location & Tips For Travelers
|
| Location - Honolulu is an
ultra-modern city full of enormous diversity. This port is
home to many ethnic groups that live, work and play amid modern
skyscrapers, rugged mountains and tropical beaches. The heart
of the city is directly across from the historic port area,
which ships of all kinds have called for more than 150 years.
Honolulu has government offices and historic buildings going
back to the days of Hawaiian royalty and a Chinatown with
a mix of Pacific Rim cultures. The main tourist draw is famous
Waikiki, four miles to the east. |
| Tipping - The standard is
15% to 20 % in restaurants. Usually city residents leave tips
depending on where they eat. For other places, $1 for the
bartender per round, $1 to hotel porters
