Detailed Daily Airtime Statement

Basic Airtime Minutes

There is a minimum 6 minutes airtime* usage per day (For outgoing calls only)
*If the minimum usage per day (total of local and international calls) does not reach 6 minutes, basis airtime rate ($1.25 x 6 min.= $7.50/per day) applies.

Rental Period

Minimum rental period is 7 days. Rental period will be calculated from the day of arrival in Japan to the day leaving Japan.
Example: Arrival date in Japan is January 1st, and Departure date in Japan is January 8th, it will be calculated as 8 days of rental.

Additional airtime minutes and International Calls

Calls within Japan $1.25/per minute
Calls to US $1.95/per minute
*All incoming calls are free

Other calls

There will be an additional $2 charge for operator assistance (104) Other calls such as collect calls, forwarding calls and calls to Shinkansen (Bullet Train) will be an additional cost of (actual cost x 20%)+$5.

Delivery/Return

We will deliver the cellular phone to the address designated by customer, 1-2 days prior to departure. Delivery fee and return fee will be $9 each way. Next day delivery is available upon request. ($25 additional charge, excluding Sunday and holidays)
(Note: There will be no charge if equipment is picked up and returned at our office.)

Returning your phone

After your trip, we can pick up your phone from most areas in Manhattan, or you can return it to us by using self-addressed UPS airbill and envelope included in a rental package sent to you with the phone. Please complete the returning process on the next day of your return. If we do not receive the phone within 2 days after shipping, an extension fee or loss fee may apply. Extension fee is $10 per day.

Pickup/Delivery and Return in Japan

We can also deliver anywhere in Japan. Airport pickup and return is also available. If you received your phone in Japan, you also need to return it in Japan, to our Telecom Japan Tokyo office. Please use the self-addressed return envelope provided with the phone when it was sent to you. Delivery charge and return charge will be $10 each way and if you are picking up/returning your phone at Airport, the charge will be $5 each way.

Cancellation

Cancellation fee is $18. However, if the phone was shipped out, received, or the phone number was notified to you at the time of cancellation, we will charge $52.50(minimum rental charge).
Phone must be returned to our office on the day of cancellation. If you are using UPS, please complete shipping process on the day of cancellation. In such case, the client will bare all the shipping cost. If we do not receive the phone within 2 days after shipping, extension fee may apply.

Payment

Method of payment accepted will be credit card. On the day of delivery/upon receiving,
*minimum rental charge of $52.50 will be charged to your credit card. Additional airtime charge will be billed to you after phone is returned.
*Minimum Rental Charge: Basic airtime (6 minutes) x Local call charge in Japan ($1.25) x Minimum Rental Period (7 days) = $52.50 (Tax, shipping not included)
